What does the free plan include?
Free is a real plan, not a trial: import from PDF or Word, or the guided builder; aTS check with one-click fixes; unlimited PDF and Word downloads, no watermark; 3 base resumes; a tailored copy for every job you apply to; 1 web resume; job capture and the application board; about 30 AI job analyses a month. There is no time limit and no card is needed.
How much do the paid plans cost?
Pro is $19 a month, Premium is $35 a month, or less when you pay for a year at once (up to 37% off). Hiring teams have their own plan. The full list is in the pricing table.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your settings whenever you like and you will not be charged again. Your resumes, applications and notes are not deleted when a plan ends; you keep access to everything the Free plan covers.
How do payments work?
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly by card through Stripe. You pay on Stripe's own secure page, so your card details never touch Rolemio, and Manage billing in Settings opens Stripe again to change your card, switch plan, download invoices or cancel.
Will my resume get through an applicant tracking system?
The PDF and Word files are built for it: one column, real bullet points, conventional section headings and selectable text. Every download is generated fresh from your data, and the ATS check names anything a parser could trip on, with a fix for each.
Does the AI make things up?
It is not allowed to. Suggestions may only rephrase evidence that is already in your resume; the model is instructed never to invent an employer, a metric or a certification, and its output is checked before you see it. Nothing changes until you approve it, and your original resume is never modified.
How is the fit score worked out?
It is computed from evidence, not guessed by a model. Points come from the posting's must-haves, relevant experience, tools, title and nice-to-haves, and every point is traced to a requirement and the line of your resume that meets it. If fewer than half the must-haves are evidenced the score is capped, and a confidence level tells you when the posting was too vague to say much. The breakdown and the list of gaps are always one click away.
Who owns my data?
You do. Each account's rows are kept apart by the database itself, your data is never sold, and you can export all of it or ask for it to be deleted. Resume text is sent to an AI provider only when you use an AI feature. The details are in the privacy policy.
Do I need to use AI at all?
No. Building, the ATS check, exports, web resumes, the board and the calendar all work without it. AI adds the gap analysis, rewrites and interview help, within your plan's monthly allowance.
